UN Roundtable

The Germany-wide alliance United Networks gUG (UN) offers regular online meetings in the “UN Roundtable” format, where UN alliance partners, other BIPoC networks and individual artists and cultural practitioners from all over Germany come together to share their knowledge and tools for strengthening intersectional BIPoC movements. Tools will then be jointly developed so that other members of the community can use them.

The upcoming “UN Roundtable” will take the form of a 2-day online working meeting on 21-22 October 2023. This time, we would like to invite our existing and future UN partners as well as experts from previous UN Action Days and from cultural policy to join us in an exchange and reflect on the challenges faced by artists and cultural workers from marginalised communities and what is needed to create a fair and equal arts and cultural landscape. The online working meetings will be accompanied by two moderators and the UN team.

The insights we gain from the “UN Roundtable” not only serve as the basis for our “UN Study”, which acts as a key instrument in our discussions with cultural policy-makers and administrators, but are also used as a valuable knowledge and community tool. We aim to collect this knowledge and make it available to the public in the form of videos, texts and graphics on our social media platforms and at the same time make it available to the wider community so that other members can also learn and benefit from it.

The event is finished.
