Introduction

Everything is political – and so is art.

We support, empower and connect racialized and marginalized (RaM) artists and cultural workers who are impacted by structural racism — and work to transform cultural institutions and the wider cultural landscape towards equity and justice.

our vision

our vision

United Networks is committed to a just and equitable cultural landscape

We envision a cultural landscape where racialized and marginalized (RaM) artists and cultural practitioners have visibility, influence, and opportunity — shaping a more inclusive world through their work and perspectives.

By creating spaces of solidarity and advocating for equitable conditions, we cultivate a sector where everyone can thrive.

Entering the Garden –Our Approach

We invite everyone to co-create braver spaces where discomfort meets care, diverse experiences are honored, and unlearning and co-learning happen together. Like a garden, this space needs tending and nurturing—through networking events, workshops, public presentations, publications, and creative labs—so new ideas and change can take root.

The Soil and Seeds –Our Foundation

Our work grows from rich soil—nourished by ancestral wisdom, community knowledge, and the ongoing effort to transform systems that no longer serve us, shaped by colonization and exclusion. This foundation guides the development of our value-driven work culture and organizational structure, fostering an environment where collective empowerment and cultural transformation can flourish.
