Our focus is on supporting marginalized BIPoC artists and cultural practitioners who experience structural racism.

We organise nationwide network meetings, workshops, presentations, produce a study, and offer creative labs in structurally weaker regions of Germany or for children and young people from socio-economically weaker families.

The UN currently comprises eight alliance partners, of which five are founding members and three are new members, within six federal states: Bavaria, Berlin, Hamburg, Hessen, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saxony-Anhalt.

Our team is a decentralized remote team, working together on the central missions of the alliance:

To promote, empower and connect marginalized BIPoC artists and cultural workers and make their work, voices and perspectives visible.

As well as to establish fairer working conditions in the arts and culture sector.
